Exodus 90 is a nonprofit ministry dedicated to helping Catholic men grow closer to the Church through spiritual discipline and brotherhood. Their program is a 90-day spiritual exercise centered on prayer, asceticism, and fraternity, offering a clear path toward personal and spiritual freedom.
The Goal
Redesign the Mobile App to Increase Engagement and Adoption
As the organization continued to grow, the Exodus 90 team identified opportunities to significantly improve the user experience of their existing mobile app. They engaged Kentech-U to enhance their MVP and evolve it into a best-in-class mobile application guided by real user feedback.
The objective was to create a more intuitive, scalable, and accessible platform that would promote their ministry and support a growing audience.
Our Plan & Process
We began by gaining a deep understanding of both the existing mobile application and Exodus 90’s target audience and goals. Kentech-U conducted user interviews, and several team members participated in the full 90-day Exodus program to gain firsthand insight into the user experience.
With this understanding, we enhanced the existing app by introducing performance improvements, usability enhancements, and design refinements. Our web and mobile development team modernized the UI to better align with user needs, while optimizing speed and navigation to ensure a smooth, high-performance experience.
In parallel, we developed targeted user personas, a market expansion strategy, and a go-to-market plan to support broader adoption.
The Results
Kentech-U successfully delivered updates to the Exodus 90 application, contributing to significant year-over-year growth. This growth has been driven by improved usability, a refined product strategy, and increased user satisfaction.
Today, Kentech-U continues to collaborate closely with the Exodus 90 leadership team, providing ongoing application maintenance, periodic audits, and continued product development to support the ministry’s mission.
