SurvivorNet

SurvivorNet, a leading cancer resource, partnered with Kentech-U to develop a website that provides expert, accessible information on various types of cancer to educate patients and their families.

Our Client

SurvivorNet brings together the expertise of cancer specialists to create a trusted online hub. Their mission is to provide relatable, approachable, and validated information that empowers patients and their loved ones while offering comfort and guidance throughout the cancer journey.

The Goal

SurvivorNet wanted a digital platform that delivers personalized content to users based on their unique “cancer journey.” The site needed to showcase videos, blog posts, and expert insights curated by reputable health professionals—all in a way that feels relevant, supportive, and trustworthy.

Our Plan and Process

With a tight timeline and the expectation of a high-quality, bug-free launch, Kentech-U conducted a focused Discovery phase to prioritize the essential features. Our development and DevOps teams worked efficiently to meet the deadline.

The site was built on WordPress to leverage a reliable, flexible platform for both front-end and back-end development. We implemented the designs provided by SurvivorNet while ensuring the site is robust, easy to manage, and scalable for future growth.

Results

The SurvivorNet website launched successfully and quickly became a vital resource for thousands of cancer patients and their families. In 2019, the site earned a Webby Award, recognizing its excellence in health and wellness digital design.
